2 Comments Published by Sean November 14th, 2006 in UncategorizedEntrepreneur, writer and publisher of Start-Up Spark Ben Yoskovitz has posted a good article called The Top 5 Reasons People Start New Businesses. According to Yoskovitz, the reasons are (in descending order): 5) Personal Freedom, 4) Personal Development, 3) Ego, 2) Money, and, the number one reason people start new businesses: PASSION.
Even though mental illness is noticeably absent from the list, the article makes some points worth considering when marketing to prospective franchise owners. Check it out here: STARTUP SPARK.
