Franchisors Don’t Focus on Organic SEO First

Mistake #2: Franchisors Don’t Focus on Organic Search Engine Optimization First.
Did you know that 75% of internet traffic at large is referred from search engines? The primary purpose of a search engine is to help the user to get to the content that they are interested in as quickly as possible. Why would you pay $750 a month to each major search engine when you could pay $750 once to rank highly on them all? Hundreds of franchisors waste thousands of dollars every year before making sure their website is ranked at the top of the major search engines. Organic search engine optimization is the act of having interactive marketing companies find out what your qualified prospects are typing into search engines like Google, MSN, and Yahoo! to find your concept. Then, after identifying how your prospects will be looking for you, they embed your franchising website with all of those keywords. If someone is interested in “sandwich franchises” for example, Google and Yahoo! will strive to drive users to websites most pertinent to that phrase. You must ensure that you are on the first page, because that is where your competition will surely be.
