According to this release, aQuantive has purchased the franchise opportunity portal Franchise Gator company for approximately $21.5 million cash. Founded in 2001, Franchise Gator is operated by ten employees in its Roswell, Georgia headquarters. It presents prospective franchisees with a portfolio of over 550 franchise opportunities and over 100 industry sectors. It expects to post revenues of $8 Million in 2006.
