Franchise advertising portals have a tough time distinguishing themselves from other online franchise advertising sites. Maybe bribery will work. What do you think?

According to a recent email from BizBuySell.Com, if you sign up as an advertiser on BizBuySell by November 30, you’ll receive a FREE iPod Shuffle after your third full month of paid service. Quick check of the APPLE site reveals a $79 pricetag for the iPod Shuffle… which holds 240 songs and is about the size of a moneyclip.

BizBuySell is an interesting site that operates off a pay-per-lead model, and generates traffic from their business broker site and through an alliance with the Wall Street Journal’s StartupJournal.Com site, as well online advertising. I believe they are not able to filter leads regionally, so it would probably not make sense for you if you’re just targeting a few states.
